A music educator and former public school music teacher, Elizabeth has been teaching piano, flute, and winds to students of all ages for over 15 years. Active in music all her life, she began her music studies on piano at a very young age, adding flute as soon as she could reach the keys. Elizabeth has been active in, and principle flute of, orchestras, wind ensembles, and college and community bands. She currently performs as a soloist and ensemble member for a variety of organizations. Elizabeth continues to educate herself in the latest music research and music education practices, and maintains membership in MTNA and NAfME. When time allows, she enjoys composing and photography.
