Piano lessons
Beginning and intermediate piano students are taught using a combination of method, theory, and technique books that cover a wide variety of musical styles. Games are often used as a fun way to learn and reinforce concepts. As students learn, methods and repertoire are adjusted according to individual interests and needs.
flute lessons
Beginning and intermediate flute students are taught music theory, proper posture, breathing, interpretation of music, incorporating expression into performance, and more. Students participating in solo and ensemble or preparing for auditions may incorporate their materials into their lessons as well. Games provide a fun way to learn and reinforce concepts. Methods and repertoire are adjusted as needed.
Winds lessons
These lessons are ideal for woodwind and brass students who are participating in their school’s band or music program and need help preparing for auditions or Solo and Ensemble, or need assistance with music or reinforcing concepts learned in class. Games are used to aid in learning, and repertoire is adjusted as needed.
